About the job

Developing smart glasses present immense challenges to power, compute architecture, perception algorithm development, optimization, sensor selection, integration, testing, privacy, and security challenges.

In this role, you will work with engineers and researchers to chart the path between early proof-of-concept algorithms to production ready-systems that enable user experiences/abilities for customers.

Your scope will involve exploring how multiple sensing modalities can be used to help improve Google services for mobile devices. You will work in ambiguous environments and coordinate with executive stakeholders in hardware, system software, perception algorithms, UX/PM, operations, cloud services, privacy/policy, health and safety, and collaborators across partner organizations within Google.

You will also amplify the existing efforts of other collaborators which is often the case with early stage projects. You will work to grow the team to meet the product demands for performance and maturity, while transitioning as appropriate given the life cycle program, or strategic changes.
